Outline for certification

The SEMI is a standard for semiconductor and equipment & materials for flat panel display, which is divided into ten sectors in relation to chemicals, equipment automation (of hardware and software), material, gas, micro pattern, equipment & safety, packaging, and flat panel display as a cohesive association standard by SEMI's collection of recommendations and needs from consumers, suppliers and related experts, and is the most comprehensive international standard for semiconductor and equipment & materials for flat panel display in the world.

Procedure

• consultation with laboratory for the standard
• review of drawings and structure
• design and manufacture based on the applicable SEMI standard
• Creation of technical documentation
• product testing
• issuance of SEMI Evaluation Report
• issuance of certificates of multinational certification authorities upon the request of applicant (optional)

3 - 4 months

  electrical energy and pneumatics, procedure for lock-out / tag-out of toxic / flammable chemicals, mechanical design information, details on earthquake protection, risk analysis data of automated transporter EN775, American / European standard certificates or report / manual, hazardous wastes, document for air pollution reduction plan, disposal treatment procedure, exhaust emission data, MSDS for chemicals, risk analysis, risk treatment plan, personal protective equipment using manual, dangerous gas usage and detection method, hazard warning label, ionized radiation data, non-ionized radiation data, laser data, sound pressure level data
