Outline for certification

The CCC compulsory product certification system is a product acceptance
assessment system of the Chinese government based on laws and
regulations for the consumer body and the life safety of animals and
plants, environmental protection, and national security.

Procedure

• submission of application form
• sample test
• factory audit
• issuance of certificate
• certification marking 

Period for acquisition

depending on product, and generally 3.5 - 6 months (* Performance of factory audit within 3 months after the issuance of certificate only for AV and IT)

Materials required

business license in English (for applicant and manufacturing factory), parts list, circuit diagram & structure diagram, product description, product manual in Chinese, product label in Chinese, questionnaire for factory audit

Follow-up management

annual fee and performance of the post factory audit once a year
