CB

Outline for certification

The IECEE / CB SCHEME is an international certification system for safety and electromagnetic waves of electrical and electronic product, which is an international mutual recognition system to obtain the certification for applicable country without duplicate test through the coordination between national and international standards as a multilateral agreement between member countries including major industrial developed countries and certification authorities.

Procedure

• submission of application form to the NCB
• informing of requirements by NCB and product testing
  • • issuance to the applicant with the signature on CB Certification by NCB
    •  sending copies to the IECEE Secretariat

Period for acquisition

depending on product. 1 - 2 months for a typical home appliance. 3 - 6 months for a product requiring the pretreatment such as capacitor

Materials required

application form, catalog, drawings, instruction manual, main specifications, main parts list, samples, applied company profile, and other references
